A centuries old estate, in the enchanting Umbrian countryside. «Country estate owned over generations by the same family, with its thousands of hectares it is a heaven of immaculate woods and olive groves, valleys, lakes and rivers.
15 years ago my husband and I wondered why not renovate some abandoned country houses to bring them back to their original splendour», relates the owner Carlotta Carabba Tettamanti in her description of this charming place, today a scattered hotel.

With the Murlo Estate a new season of TDS Italian Grand Tour is inaugurated: last year The Dressing Screen guided its visitors to the discovery of the most exclusive workshops and ateliers, located in fabulous hotels, offering Italian style clothes and products, for which TDS is the showcase.
«We never had a boutique, but in our new location in the orangerie we now offer our oil and for the first time our rosè wine, as well as products that come from our farm and vegetable garden!» adds Carlotta, who kwnowing numerous local craftsmen has fostered amazing sinergies supporting them in this difficult period.
«In the first place ceramics made in Deruta and decorated with antique patterns, today also sold online: you can combine a whole set. I then discovered a lady in Perugia who works in a Franciscan church of the XIII Century turned into a laboratory. She handcrafts wonderful creations with antique looms of the XIX Century. We selected clutches, cushions, tablemats… handmade and exclusively designed for the Estate».
